James Franco vinder Golden Globe som verdens dårligste instruktør

Han har også selv instrueret. Men det er i hovedrollen som verdens dårligste instruktør i “The Disaster Artist”, at James Franco i nat vandt en Golden Globe, da Hollywood Foreign Press Association uddelte den næstfineste filmpris i Hollywood.

“The Disaster Artist” er filmatiseringen af optagelserne til verdens måske dårligste film – “The Room” – som Tommy Wiseau (instruktør/hovedrolle/manuskript) lavede som en alvorlig film, der skulle vinde priser. Nu har “The Disaster Artist” gjort det, som “The Room” ikke kunne.

Ellers blev nattens store vinder “In Bruges”-instruktør Martin McDonaghs “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”, der vandt for bedste drama, kvindelige hovedrolle, mandlige birolle og manuskript.

Andre vindere blev “Lady Bird” og “The Shape of Water”, der blandt andet hjemtog henholdsvis bedste komedie og bedste instruktør til Guillermo del Toro.
