So sue me!!

Each decade that passes the movies and people who watch them change, the way they tell stories change, so on and so forth...
It is a fact of life, and while Spielberg had the biggest influence in the modern movie business and when it comes to movies, it can still be argued who is better from your own personal point of view.
NEVER forget that we don't see things the same way, and when a director or a story teller can communicate with as many people as Spielberg has, one HAS to give him credit for that alone.
To be honest, I have never heard of Kioslowski, does it mean he is crap? I don't know cause I have not seen his work, but since he didn't show up on my radar he cannot compete with the big boys of those who made memorable movies like 2001, Star Wars, Ben Hur, E.T. Ceo3K, Indiana Jones and so on...
But here is the real kick in the head, in 30-40 years from now, who do you think that generation will remember? And ask your self this, who do you think people remember 30-40 years ago of those so called great directors?
Because times changes, the people change, the entertainment business changes with them. What once was good is no more, and some new style takes the podium.
A good story teller or director is one who can communicate with as many people as humanly possible, regardless religion, culture or age. And Spielberg did just that. Kioslowski, didn't... Was he skilled? Perhaps but that is a matter of opinion isn't it?
I bet a block buster movie such as the Matrix would confuse people in the 1920ies, or a movie like the Gladiator, would equally fail to get people's attention or interest in the 1920ies, simply because they are not used to that kind of story telling...
But that didn't mean they were terrible movies...
We all see the world according to our own personality... And somewhere down the road, we meet in a dark room for 2 hours and enjoy the same story as everyone else...
