Ændring af ‘homo’-replik i “Ternet Ninja” blev ikke tvunget igennem, siger Det Danske Filminstitut.
I første manuskript-udkast til Anders Matthesens nye animations-film sagde titlens ternede ninja ordene ’Ligner jeg en homo?'. I den endelige film er ‘homo’ ændret til ‘kælling’ efter pres fra DFI – læs om det her.
Men Det Danske Filminstitut forsikrer nu om, at der ikke var tale om et krav, men derimod blot et forslag:
”Til udviklingsstøtte-samtalen blev det foreslået Anders Matthesen, at han kunne overveje replikken ‘Ligner jeg en homo?’. Han har derfra selv valgt at ændre det. Det har aldrig været et krav fra DFI i forhold til at få støtte,” siger Marianne Moritzen, der er afdelingschef for spillefilm hos DFI, til Filmz.
Ved samtalen havde én af DFI-repræsentanterne det ubekvemt med replikken, hvilket fik vedkommende til at foreslå Anders Matthesen at ændre replikken.
Det valgte Matthesen efter denne indledende udviklingsstøtte-samtale, som ligger før den endelige tildeling af eventuel filmstøtte:
”Der var ingen, der stillede krav, men nogle kunne mærke, at de blev forargede over det. Så vi ændrede det til ‘kælling’,” siger Matthesen til Berlingske.
Det Danske Filminstitut har i alt støttet “Ternet Ninja” med 6,7 millioner kroner.
“Ternet Ninja” får dansk premiere d. 25. december.
