Damm Bane ser for fed ud i Arkham Asylum

Værd at downloade?
I admire its purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.

I'm a bit late to the game, but I was getting excited about the promise of a much improved sequel, so I decided to loan the game from a friend - if anything, then at least just to see what all the fuzz is about.

I've just done the first assasination and have probably already played 2-3 hours at this time. I imagine it probably gets more repetitive later on, but right now I still find everything quite fresh. But there are definitely positives and negatives to this, so hopefully they'll look into the vast amounts of feedback given to this title by everyone.

Positives:

- Well, first of all. It does look great! I don't think it runs so smoothly at times, but it does looking absolutely outstanding - then again, which Ubisoft game doesn't. That's not really their problem.

-I really like the climbing system. Very intuitive! The pace is often far too fast for "manual climbing" anyway, so this does really, really work well in the context of the game.

-I think the fighting is pretty good so far, although I'm having problems with the autolock system. I think there's a nice sense of weight to the weapons, and it does make me feel like I'm wielding a sword, knife or whatever.

Negatives:

-The camera is absolutely fucking retarded. Sometimes it just gets stuck in a weird unmovable angle behind me, where I can't really see anything. This is made all the worse by,

-The controls! So the camera is controlled with your right thumb, yet 80% of the commands are controlled by the very same thumb. This means that when I blend - as an example - I need to stop, keep right thumb on X, move left thumb over and move the camera, and left thumb back to move my character. Who the hell thought this was a good idea? Obviously, it's a problem in far more scenarios than just the first one. Why didn't they make more use of the shoulder buttons? L2 and R2 are almost untouched, goddamn shame.

-The Horse. Interesting in theory, fantastically boring in practice. Took me 30 mins or so for my first ride to Damascus. Why? Well, of course I slowed everytime I got near a guard and "blended" through them. Even then I got spotted quite a lot, and had to fight more than I needed. Ending up boring the hell out of me. On my next trip to Acre I just sprinted through the whole goddamn thing, and it still took ages.

That's my impressions so far. I would have like to be able to move bodies too, but other than that, I think the game mechanics themselves are working good so far.
