Prototype is a game with many cool features. However, it lacks many of the finishing touches that make for a great and memorable game. To say the graphics and game engine need work is a massive understatement and many of the missions are cookie cutter in design without any real focus or attention to detail. Thankfully, Alex Mercer's absorbing and shape shifting powers manage to overcome many of the shortcomings of Prototype. Though the missions themselves aren't anything special, the vast array of powers provides their own variety and flair.
1UP (B-): "Making Alex [the main character] such a badass also proves to be Prototype's undoing. It becomes a fight to follow and control Alex in the midst of the action. This problem mounts the further you get into the game, leading to more frustration than fun ... Alex can essentially fly around the city. With his jump, air dash, and glide abilities fully powered up, and the basic ability to run on any surface, the buildings become like a giant jungle gym."
Eurogamer (7/10): "Fans of serious hero fiction will find Prototype a bit of a turn-off. You're infected with some sort of virus ... and the story of why, told through snatches of video obtained by absorbing key characters (basically, weakening and eating them) and in moody cut-scenes, is basic and yet difficult to follow ... Mission design isn't very open-ended, usually boiling down to doing something violently or stealthily, but with such a vast array of attacking options you often have the luxury of trying something different."
IGN (7.5/10): "How long can you do flying elbow drops onto tanks or throw people off of rooftops before it gets boring? The world itself here is far from the most engaging ... Since repetition is oftentimes the name of the game here, you can be sure you'll be doing uninspired tasks over and over again."
Giant Bomb (4/5): "Radical almost went too far with its kitchen-sink approach to combat design, but the gameplay here is satisfying and broad enough that you can have plenty of fun with it even without mastering the nuances of every last combo and attack ... Prepare to be frustrated from time to time when the mission difficulty amps up to insane levels and you feel it's you against the entire world all of a sudden."
Begge to købt fra PSN. Suuuper sjovt. :)

"Shift moves to the core racing experience where drivers have to follow the racing line, take the corners aggressively, use drafting, master drift, and try not to crash. Every race affects your Driver Profile, which constantly keeps track of the way you drive and will ultimately determine what kind of driver you are and what types of in-game items are offered to you. Leveling up will open up new cars and customization options, and an aggressive driver can end up with an extremely different looking vehicle than someone who is a calculated racer."
"It's definitely not an arcadey racer where you can bounce off of other cars as you go into a steep turn, or use the walls as sponges when you haven't decelerated enough. Experienced racers will find it immediately intuitive, but if you're used to simple racing games you'll definitely be behind a steep learning curve. Mastering the brake and following the line are key to staying on the track and being competitive, and Shift has extremely detailed physics, which includes a unique driver view."
"If you happen to crash, you'll be treated to the full experience from inside the car, complete with a loud, semi-orgasmic groan from the driver as his ride turns into junkyard fodder. The harder you hit, the louder your driver is, and we'd be lying if we said we didn't have a lot of fun playing around with that."
"We noticed that every corner has a gray box near it on your minimap, and if you take a corner precisely you can "master" that corner, and it gets checked off. The box turns yellow as the corner is in-progress, and will X out if you fail, or turn into a check mark if you succeed. Your profile keeps tracks of these, and Slightly Mad Studios is hoping that numbers of corners mastered will become a bragging point amongst racers." (Bony - bare rolig, her skal jeg nok tæve dig hehe)
"The game is extremely fast, and other than some seemingly longer than normal load screens, we really enjoyed spending time with it, especially in the cockpit view, which is really impressive. Hardcore racers are definitely going to want to pick this up, especially since the developer is estimating 70 hours just to complete the career mode, and another 30 or so for online gameplay. They'll have 70 cars at launch in September, with several DLC packs on the way."

BTW en anden ting jeg godt kan li ved spillet er musikken, man kan virkelig høre de har været ude og finde på alternativ musik, meget metalisk.
