Waner Bros. er nu klar med teaser-traileren til deres filmatisering af Andrew Llyod Webbers musical “Phantom of the Opera”, som er instrueret af Joel Schumacher.
Filmen har bl.a. Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, Alan Cumming, Miranda Richardson og Minnie Driver på rollelisten.

What is a movie trailer?
"A movie trailer is basically a preview of an upcoming film. In general these are played before the main feature to advertise films currently playing at other cinemas, or to be released in the coming months. Traditionally these previews were actually played after (or trailed) the main feature, hence the name. This dates back to the days of movie serials, where the audience would stay to see what was going to happen next week. The name is therefore no longer an accurate description, but like many movie terms, this is the one which stuck.
Another term to be aware of is 'teaser'. A teaser is a movie preview just like the trailer, although it is usually much shorter, and will contain either no footage, or only very little or specially shot footage for an upcoming film. A teaser is usually produced very early on in a film's production, often before much footage is actually shot, to start creating a general awareness for the film."
