Does the world need more Die Hard movies? I mean the first one was good, the second one was a flash back kinda thing and the third one... Well I like the 3rd one, but it didn't feel so much like a Die Hard movie but rather a Cop movie and nothing special... Zeus was cool though...

As for another cop movie... I don't know it is a bit old and might not work anymore... Spears is in it? That is a mistake...

Nevermind, this will blow over like all other movies that shouln't have been made...

Well, that's what you say now, but I'm willing to bet that people said the same about Plan 9 From Outer Space.

That said, why is it people (including myself) always cry and whine when they make a sequel to a movie? Do people do the same with books?

"Whaa whaa whaa. Why oh why did Tolkien have to write Lord of the Rings? He should have settled for The Hobbit and left well enough alone! I hope he burns in hell!"

You can have enormously successfull book series/universes both from a commercial and literary perspective, and people hardly ever complain. Most people say something like "well, it would be fun to read some more of $CHARACTER's adventures; I sure hope (s)he writes another book"; just look at people like Stephen King or Dean Koontz who place a lot of their stories in the same universe as their other books, and even revisit various characters again. Quite successfully even.

Or look at the Dragonlance fantasy series. Well over a hundred novels so far, a rich and vast universe to explore and very few bad books in the lot. The same can be said of the Forgotten Realms series. Or how about Ann Rice's books about vampires? The Ringworld series? Or Tom Clancy's books about the adventures of Jack Ryan? Not to mention an undoubtedly huge number of other literary series.

Why is it so bad, when we're talking movies?
I'm not left-handed either.

#13: Got a point there, hehe! :)
