All the others are overrated, so that’s quite simple"

[Movies are a great diversion] because it's much more pleasant to be obsessed over how the hero gets out of his predicament than it is over how I get out of mine.

"When i saw the dancing chicken, i knew i would create a grand metaphor -- for what, i don't know"

"I had to domesticate the wild beast" <-- om at arbejde sammen med Kinski.

"I shouldn't make movies anymore, I should check myself into and insane asylum right awat"

"I transform landscapes -- I direct landscapes"

Just of the top of my head.

Fandt lige nogle übercool citater fra tre fremragende instruktører:

"Movies are my religion and God is my patron. I'm lucky enough to be in the position where I don't make movies to pay for my pool. When I make a movie, I want it to be everything to me; like I would die for it."
Quentin Tarantino

"[on Stanley Kubrick] We're all children of Kubrick, aren't we? Is there anything you can do that he hasn't done?"
Paul Thomas Anderson

"Directing ain't about drawing a neat little picture and showing it to the cameraman. I didn't want to go to film school. I didn't know what the point was. The fact is, you don't know what directing is until the sun is setting and you've got to get five shots and you're only going to get two."
