Der er mange der undrer sig over hvad Wachowski-brødrene nu har gang i, da “The Matrix Revolutions” snart er klar til premiere.
Et nyt mystisk website der relaterer til “Matrix”-universet er blevet opdaget: Det er en hjemmeside for Metacortechs – det firma som Neo arbejdede for før han blev unplugged fra ‘the Matrix’ i den første film. Hjemmesiden er fyldt med koder og gåder, og “Matrix”-fans arbejder i døgndrift på at finde ud af hvad de betyder.
Nogle af koderne er:
Efter flash-introen og man er kommet til hovedsiden, klikker man på “directory” i bunden af billedet. Herefter dukker et kort op med forskellige lokationer, hvor man skal klikke på den, der hedder “Redland”. Man kommer nu til en side, hvor man kan søge efter navne på ansatte i Metacortechs. Hvis man skriver “AndersonThomas”, kan man se at han er blevet flyttet til et ikke offentliggjort sted.
Hvis man i stedet skriver “AveryJames”, dukker der en mystisk binær kode op og et flimrende billede til venstre.
Betyder denne side, at Wachowski-brødrene har gang i en spin-off til “Matrix”-universet? Hvordan knækker man koderne, og hvad betyder de? Spørgsmålene er mange.

1. Beth's archive #70. One of the people mentioned is David Drummond. Clarence Drummond is B166ER's lawyer in the Second Renaissance.
2. Another one of Beth's archives is #53. I don't see anything particularly interesting about it, except the fact that it is the same as a "missing" archive #51. I don't think there are any other duplicate archives. Somehow 51=53
3. Somehow x=chs (thinking of code in the flash and screensaver). metacortex.com is an available domain, yet the address, as we know, is different. They use metacorteX and metacorteCHS interchangeably.
4. The name of the child's jpg on paintover is 00000001.jpg The binary translation for this is this little box character that I don't know how to display. little-boxes.net
5. The heaquarters locations. I mean, it'd be fairly common to have headquarters in Moscow, for example, but for some reason they chose S. Petersburg. Why did they choose the cities they chose?
6. Beth's login - emc2. Need to find scientific references in the Ms; possibly elsewhere (this thing I have a whole long theory about that I will not bother listing here).
7. There is no reason for Rhineheart not to be mentioned in the db - he is clearly not the same person as Regenhardt; need his first name. Rhineheart types something in M1 as he speaks to Neo; what is he typing?
8. Paintover is anagram for TavernPointe (credit: chinghis)
9. There is an obvious reference to a real corporation here - microsoft. A retired CEO of another real corporation (GE) is Jack Walsh; same last name as metacortex' current CEO
10. On paintover: "Eye see" The Oracle in the trailer: "I see the wind coming..." Are there hidden clues in the trailers?
11. More references to Ms: 72 hours, 250 000 people, ETM (not sure who to credit with this)
12. Something will happen on October 10 at 8:00 pm
13. Beth quotes Huxley, John Sales, and some Sicilian proverb. I don't think there is a John Sales (credit: chinghis).
14. We have 2 weird texts: one about the machines, and that translation from Latin about ugly, arrows, Maur, Orcus (credit: smith_fan). "Know Thyself" is written above the Oracle's door in LATIN. The phrase itself comes from the Oracle's temple at Delphi, where it was - obviously - written in Greek. Why in hell was it in Latin in M1??
15. We know we got some missing texts all over the place. I can't help but wonder if they are related to the code strings. Examples of missing text: Archive #73; Avery; the hyperlink in Beth's e-mail that later turned out to be "heismissing".
16. Somebody was nice enough to animate the levitating cat's gifs (lost the link, but could search for it). What is that green spot on the right?
17. Does Avery's image contain a barcode?
18. Archive #78: backwards-swimming fish. Aquapolis' flash. Btw, I never saw it, can't see it still - does anybody have it? [EDIT]the archive says "c. attachments" There are no attachments to see. [EDIT]
19. loon wondered a few pages ago "why underwater hotel"? It is clear to me now that Aquapolis is very closely tied to Merovingian. Phillip likes Greeks, and he is French. Merovingian's lineage might be MUCH more ancient than lots of people speculated here (Christ). He may be a descendant of the rulers of Atlantis, and a distant relative of Poseidon himself. I feel that we are not adequately addressing Aquapolis. It's "the 8th wonder of the world". 5 of the other 7 are also Greek. One of them is the hanging gardens of Babylon. Phillip Gairden. Scraping for clues. But I am certain that if we examine Merovingian close enough, we are as good as guaranteed to find something that will help us hack Aquapolis.
