“Toy Story 2” fra 1999 havde rekorden. 163 friske anmeldelser på Rotten Tomatoes. Nul rådne. Nu snupper Greta Gerwigs solodebut-film, “Lady Bird”, rekorden som den bedst anmeldte film nogensinde på Rotten Tomatoes.

Hele 170 anmeldere kan lide “Lady Bird” – nul er negative. Og den slags positiv omtale kan sandsynligvis udmøntes i et fornuftigt billetsalg.
Således er 70 procent af de amerikanske filmforbrugere tilbøjelig til at fravælge en film, hvis den har en lav score hos Rotten Tomatoes – så måske gælder det også den anden vej?
“Lady Bird” nævnes allerede som en seriøs Oscar-kandidat, hvilket også afspejler sig i de første pris-nomineringer i Oscar-sæsonen.
Hele fire nomineringer er gået til “Lady Bird” ved den store indie-pris Spirit Awards, der uddeles inden Oscar-uddelingen, d. 3. marts.
“Lady Bird” får dansk premiere d. 26. april.
