Andre tilgængelige serier inkluderer ABC dramaet “Night Stalker” og Disney Channels “That’s So Raven” og “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”.
Hvert afsnit vil koste $1.99.

Now Disney owns ABC, which makes LOST, Desperate House Wives etc. For the other shows such as Invasion, Battlestar Galactica, Apple needs to convince them that a show should be sold for no more than $1.99 per episode.
The plan is this, it is all a trial. It is ok, that you can see Lost, on your new iPod should you have missed one episode and you are on your way in an airplane or Bush or even a train. Then in the comfort of the new iPod you can store an entire season onto it and watch it on the go. FANTASTIC! Yes, but the resolution is MADE for the iPod. As long as this is a trail (not officially though), meaning as long as it is ONLY Disney in on it so far, the demand on getting a higher res. will not be implemented in any future iTunes, unless the other companies says so. And THEN as Steve Jobs pointed out by request of Disney, YOU CANNOT BURN your episodes onto either CDs or DVDs. Where does this leave those with the wish to back up their shows, is beyond me. But never the less, a fantastic idea. I only hope a NEW device such as the long rumored mac home entertainment system will come to light soon. This device is told to be able to be plugged into the TV set as well as your stereo and via Wireless connection to your computer transfer the contents of your desire onto a HD of perhaps 200-300GBs. This would mean that the ULTIMATE home entertainment would take shape. This long rumored device has sparked the interest of such companies as LaCie who make the fantastic little HD that is portable and can be plugged into HDTVs and normal TVs. Look for your self

This is the way of the future. To subscribe and download, IT IS VIDEO ON DEMAND! It is what we can do now and what we should all be able to have the chance to enjoy.
The suggestion I sent to the companies have responded some interest, but not all were too eager to even answer. Now with Apple pushing this idea with Disney, who will soon offer Classic programs and old cartoon mania. Perhaps even Holiday specials such as cartoon movies this christmas... I see this might catch on real quick.
This is all well and good. But as I talked to my brother in law, he says there will be a LONG waiting period in Denmark for this to even take shape. He told me how the government cashes in on media in general. If I can buy an episode online for $1.99, he says the price in Dk would be about $3.99 if not more. This I see as a problem. And I sympathize on this, cause I don't think New Zealand will see any shows anytime soon either. Though we might see it sooner than you. (I don't care, I have a Sat. Dish with more channels than humans should ever have.) I can record them and see them later too...
I hope that they can find a simple and fast solution to this problem as it will cost Apple as well as the companies a slap in the face, and it will be given by the governments who want to make money off of the US market. It is only to put taxes on them. BUT THAT IS ALL THAT SHOULD BE ALLOWED. Anything else, is piracy or stealing or better yet, abuse! Cause I know that the companies in the US NEVER get a dime for the so called collection of money to these artists they promote in different countries.
It would be the logical thing to do... It was on the news last time I was in San Francisco. It was reported that the movie companies loose a great deal of money on legit sales throughout the world. For instance they said, countries where they have high tax, they sell their items too expensive and thus sales are sluggish in some areas in the world. And then there are places where they collect an annual fee from people who have TVs, radio etc, to pay for the music and movie contents shown on tv. This is said to be something where they simply have no choice, I remember this cause some guy was downloading music in some country I cannot remember, and he said he has to do this cause it is outrageous what his government is asking for. He didn't have enough money to pay all the extras or something I didn't quite understand what he was talking about but he was ANGRY. Anyway, something about things costing more than they would ever do in the US. And this effect makes for big losses in the music and movie business.
Brrr, you know what I mean, I am tired... This all went to my head, when I heard it this morning. I am still trying to figure out if New Zealand will enjoy this, but I doubt it... Not yet anyway...
Sorry for me yapping along, it was just one of those days....
Peace be with you or live long and prosper or bye...
