Ingen andre “Star Wars”-karakter er så hadet som Jar Jar Binks, som George Lucas introducerede med “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”. Ny “Star Wars”-roman afslører nu Jar Jar Binks’ skæbne.

Det er Gizmodo, der har fået fat i passagen om Binks fra Chuck Wendigs kommende bog med titlen “Star Wars Aftermath: Empire’s End”, der kronologisk udspiller sig imellem “Episode VI” og “Episode VII”.
Her er Binks reduceret til en klovn, der optræder for flygtningebørn. Børnene elsker ham, når han gør sig selv til grin. De voksne derimod taler ikke om eller til ham. Ingen nævner hans navn.
