I kan vel godt regne ud handlingsforløbet, så behøver ikke skrive det. Men den her film er en af de få, hvor vi får lov til at se hans ansigt. Filmen er faktisk svær at tage seriøs, og forudsigelig. I de fleste film er hovedpersonen heldig at overleve. Der overlever altid mindst en person. Man skal se den med nogle venner og et par øller. Den er rigtig ufrivilig morsom. I '82 var den nok uhyggelig.

Læste at grunden til at Laughton ikke vendte tilbage til instruktørstolen var at han fik meget kritik for filmen i sin tid...
Ingen tvivl om det er en fantastisk film men den var allerede på den tid lidt altmodish med dens klare visuelle referencer til tysk ekspressionisme - sjovt nok er det disse træk der er med til at gøre den langtidsholdbar.

Jeg var mere underholdt af Salt, som efter min mening var væsentligt mere innovativ end Unknown, både når det kom til actionsekvenserne og historien.
