Tessa Thompson forsvarer titlen “Men in Black”, men håber på en ændring i fremtiden.
Organisationen hedder stadig ‘Men in Black’, selv om der er en del kvinder, der også arbejder som agenter i sorte jakkesæt.
I “MIB: International” er det endda med Tessa Thompson i én af hovedrollerne.
Hun forstår godt, at man fastholder “Men in Black”-navnet, men ser gerne, at det bliver ændret en dag:
”Vi ville sikre os, at folk ved, at dette er den franchise, som de kender og elsker… Der har altid været repræsentation i denne organisation. Det har bare ikke afspejlet sig i titlen, men hvis vi laver flere film, vil det måske ændre sig,” siger Tessa Thompson.
Senest har det været diskuteret, om “X-Men” bør ændre navn for at repræsentere begge køn – læs om det her.
