Paramount hyrer “Fargo”-skaber Noah Hawley til “Star Trek 4” – originalt cast forventes tilbage.
I begyndelsen af 2019 droppede Paramount idéen om “Star Trek 4”, som ellers skulle instrueres af franchisens første kvindelige instruktør, S. J. Clarkson.
Dermed var der lagt op til, at Paramount ville vente på Quentin Tarantino, som har en idé til en “Star Trek”-film.
Nu har Paramount i stedet hyret Noah Hawley (“Fargo”, “Legion”), der skal instruere og producere “Star Trek 4”, skriver The Hollywood Reporter.
Hawley har senest instrueret sci-fi-filmen “Lucy in the Sky”, som aktuelt ikke har nogen dansk premieredato.
Det forventes, at Chris Pine gør comeback til rollen som Captain James T. Kirk – det samme gælder blandt andre Zachary Quinto og Zoe Saldana.
Der er ikke tale om Quentin Tarantinos “Star Trek”-manuskript, som altså i princippet stadig kan blive til virkelighed.

og selvom Tarantino helt sikkert ville putte et interessant spin på det, så er det ikke noget jeg har travlt med at se :)

Desværre klynger jeg mig også bare til det halmstrå, at fusionen mellem Paramount og Viacon, vil åbne for nye muligheder
