Jason Bateman blev ved en fejl udråbt som Emmy-vinder.

Der var ingen tvivl hos voice-overen, der udråbte i nat vinderen: Jason Bateman havde vundet en Emmy for sin rolle i HBO-serien “The Outsider”. Men det havde han ikke.

For på skærmen stod Ron Cephas Jones’ navn som vinder for “This is us”.

Og det var ganske rigtigt Ron Cephas Jones – og ikke Jason Bateman – der var Emmy-vinder i kategorien, hvilket straks fik Emmy-akademiet til at undskylde.

Emmy-brøleren minder om et lignende tilfælde i 2017, hvor “La La Land” på scenen blev udråbt som vinderen af kategorien Bedste film. Det var dog en fejl – vinderen var “Moonlight”.

Ja. Men i disse BLM tider, ville en hvid vinder også have været for ekstremt

Desværre ja. Fremover vinder film jo også kun Oscars hvis der er så få fra flertallet med som muligt
