I år vandt de hver sin Oscar for henholdsvis bedste instruktion og bedste fotografering for “The Revenant”. Det samme var tilfældet i 2015 for “Birdman”. Alejandro González Iñárritu og Emmanuel Lubezki er et utroligt makkerpar, som de nu fortsætter i virtual reality.

Således er Iñárritu og Lubezke kendt for at være glade for at eksperimentere. Med det, der lignede et one shot i “Birdman”, over i det storslåede uden brug af kunstigt lys med “The Revenant”.
Derfor giver det god mening, at Indiewire kan fortælle, at makkerparret nu er påbegyndt arbejdet med en kortfilm i virtual reality for Legendary.
Om projektet oplyser Legendary, at det vil ”udforske den intense og uudholdelige oplevelse, som en gruppe immigranter og flygtninge oplever, da de krydser grænsen fra Mexico til USA.”

Så det bliver, som sædvanlig, farvet i alle de røde farver de kan finde.
Endnu en poltisk propaganda film, som kun venstrefløjen kan slippe afsted med.

On topic (og helt uden politisk bias): Er meget spændt på film til VR formatet. Det har potentialet til at blive virkeligt intenst. Mht. til lige netop denne film, så bliver det interessant at se hvordan Iñárritu tackler diverse filmiske virkemidler i VR-mediet - hvordan tiltrækker man publikums opmærksomhed, så de ikke misser vigtige detaljer? Går ikke ud fra, at man kan lave en VR-film med klipning, zoom og framing etc. eftersom det er publikum der styrer "kameraet", ergo skal det helst også være i ét langt take (noget som Iñárritu jo faktisk har prøvet før med Birdman - næsten), hvis ikke folk skal blive "VR-syge".

Ja og Kaversmed´s link viser jo meget godt hvordan ignoranter oplever verden. Bare ærgerligt de har spå meget magt :-(

Kan lige gå til korte film som en roller coaster, men fjerner det ikke hele meningen med en film. Nemlig at man ser den vision som instruktøren har. Det bliver meget nemt at komme til at gå glip af noget vigtigt fordi man ikke kigger det rigtige sted hen.
