AMPAS har netop offentligtgjort to gange syv film der er blevet “præ-nomineret”, dvs. de film som er kommet i betragtning til at konkurrere om den gyldne statuette i følgende to kategorier. Visual Effects og Sound Editing. Filmene som er blevet udvalgt er:

Det vil i starten af februar blive afgjort, hvilke film der kommer blandt de nominerede.
