Onsdag blev årets Golden Globe-nomineringer offentliggjort. Det er blevet til en enkelt dansk nominering i form af Thomas Vinterbergs “Druk”.
Golden Globes-nomineringerne bærer præg af et år, hvor film i endnu højere grad er rykket fra biografens bløde sæder til sofaens velkendte puder. Både i film- og seriekategorierne har Netflix nemlig fået flest nomineringer.
David Finchers Netflix-film “Mank” er med sine seks nomineringer den mest nominerede film, skarpt forfulgt af retssalsdramaet “The Trial of the Chicago 7” med fem nomineringer. Netflix’ britiske kritiker-darling “The Crown” fører an i seriekategorierne med seks nomineringer.
Danske “Druk” er blevet nomineret til bedste ikke-engelsksprogede film. Filmen fortsætter sin succes ovenpå sine fire priser ved European Film Awards. Med denne Golden Globes-nominering sætter “Druk” sig også i en god position til årets Oscar-ceremoni, hvor amerikanske medier allerede spår den danske film gode chancer for en nominering.

Grundet pandemiens præg på filmåret 2020 er de store filmceremonier blevet rykket. Det betyder, at Golden Globes bliver afholdt natten til d. 1. marts dansk tid. Tina Fey og Amy Poehler er endnu engang værter for prisuddelingen.
